New Samples of Recent Work

We just posted two new samples from recent projects.
"2143" by Aventity is a hard core metal fest I'm sure many will enjoy. They've released an EP and you can find them at http://www.myspace.com/aventity.
"Black Silk" by Madame XD features Chinese erhu virtuoso Xiao Dong Wei. Her tone and playing are amazing and this group is going to open a lot of ears. You can find her and more of her music at http://www.myspace.com/madamexd.
I recorded and mixed both of these projects and they're more proof that really vital and exciting music is happening in Detroit.

Monday Mastermind Meetings

Based on recent conversations, we see a need for people who make music and recordings to get together and talk shop. Let's face it, we're all off in a corner working on our own thing or with a small group of people and sometimes we could use a fresh perspective.
Every Monday night I am hosting a small gathering of like minded music professionals here in the Detroit area so that we can chew the hash and stimulate the thought processes. Let's keep it laid back and informal and solve each other's problems.

Greetings Friends!
It's February and that means we just had Groundhog's Day and that means 6 more weeks of Winter. Though technically there's ALWAYS 6 more weeks of Winter right after Groundhog's Day.
Currently I am in progress on finishing a live album by Nadir and Distorted Soul, a 5 song EP by Hardcore Metal band Aventity and another live by project by Brando and Friends called "Live at the Stickitback Inn."
Throw in a couple of boutique video soundtrack productions and it's been a busy start for 2008.

The Matt Keil Band is currently in progress on the making of a new 4 song Ep with yours truly handling the tracking and mixing duties. The live rhythm tracks are smokin' and mixing is already under way.

Monday April 2, is Opening Day

Monday April 2, is Opening Day here in Detroit for the Tigers and most of the rest of Major League Baseball.
At Szajna Dynasty Media that means we're closed on April 2. The company president got tired of hearing excuses from the rest of the staff every year so he made it policy that Opening Day was an annual company holiday.
Columbus Day is not a holiday at Szajna Dynasty, so there's one more example where you have to give a little to get a little.
We will back up and running on Tuesday April 3.
